While you do not have to register and create a free BeFunky account to use the free version of the app, having an account can provide you with more flexibility allowing you to link to other locations (like Google Drive/Photos, Dropbox) where you may have image files stored. Having a BeFunky can also provide your with a centralized location with space to store your projects, images and creations.
If you don't already have a BeFunky account, you can create one by selecting Register here from the sign-in page.
Important Note: If you are not sure if you already have a BeFunky account, please follow the steps found here: Your Plus or Pro Account is Showing as Free. A password reset link will be sent to the email address if it is linked to a BeFunky account.
If you create a new account before going through the various sign in options and checking email addresses, you may end up with multiple accounts (free or paid). Creating multiple accounts can lead to misplaced files and projects, as well as additional charges.
Step 1: Click the Register here link.
Pro Tip: Always use the same email address and sign-in method you originally used to create your account. Using a different email address, Google account, Apple ID, Facebook account, or sign-in option may create or open a separate BeFunky Free account.
Step 2: Fill in the email address and password you would like to use to log into your BeFunky account. This will become the information that you use to log in to your BeFunky account. Please be sure this is an email address that you can access in case you need to have a password reset link sent.
Step 2a: Rather than use an email address and password, you can also select from the available Third-party log in options (Facebook, Google, or Apple).
The email address associated with the Third Party log in will become the email address associated with the BeFunky account.
Step 3: Verify Your Email.
After creating your BeFunky account, open the verification email and select the link to confirm your email address. Complete verification within 24 hours, as the link expires for security purposes. Verifying your email helps protect your account and ensures you receive password reset emails, account notifications, and subscription updates.
If your email address hasn't been verified, you'll see a prompt on your Account Page asking you to verify your email address.
