When you create a BeFunky account, you may be asked to verify your email address. Email verification helps confirm that you own the email address associated with your account and improves the security of your BeFunky account.
Verifying your email also helps ensure you receive important account communications, such as password reset emails, account notifications, and subscription-related updates.
Verify Your Email
If your email address hasn't been verified, you'll see a prompt on your Account Page asking you to verify your email address.
Step 1: Select Send Verification Email.
Step 2: Open the verification email sent to your inbox.
Step 3: Select the verification link to complete the process.
Didn't Receive the Verification Email?
If you don't receive the verification email within a few minutes:
- Check your Spam or Junk folder.
- Verify that you're signed in to the correct BeFunky account.
- Select Send Verification Email again from your Account page.
If you still don't receive the email, you may be signed in with a different email address than the one associated with your account.
Verification Link Expired?
Verification links expire after 24 hours for security purposes.
If your link has expired, simply return to your Account Page and select Send Verification Email to receive a new verification link.
I Didn't Request This Email
If you received a verification email that you weren't expecting, someone may have accidentally entered your email address while creating a BeFunky account.
If you didn't create a BeFunky account or don't recognize the request, you can safely ignore the email. Your email address won't be verified unless the verification link is selected.
If you continue receiving unexpected verification emails or believe someone may be attempting to access your account, contact BeFunky Support for assistance.
Received a "Login from New Device" Email?
For your security, BeFunky sends a notification whenever your account is accessed from a new browser or device. This email is different from an email verification message and is intended to help you identify sign-ins that you may not recognize.
If the Login Was Yours
No further action is required. You may receive this notification when you:
- Sign in from a different computer, phone, or tablet.
- Use a different web browser.
- Use a private or incognito browsing session.
- Clear your browser's cookies or cache.
If You Don't Recognize the Login
If you don't recognize the login attempt:
Step 1: Reset your password immediately.
Step 2: Review any recent activity on your account.
Step 3: Go to your My Account page and click View next to Your Devices. Revoke Access to any devices you do not recognise.
If you believe someone has accessed your account without your permission, contact BeFunky Support.
