How to Use the Batch Background Remover

Batch Background Remover automatically removes backgrounds from multiple images at once, making it easy to process large batches in seconds.

You can:

  • Remove backgrounds from entire image batches
  • Replace backgrounds with colors or images
  • Refine background selections
  • Add drop shadows
  • Customize individual images before saving

Open Batch Background Remover

Step 1: Open the Photo Editor and click Batch.

Step 2: Select Background Remover from the Batch menu.

Add Images

Click Add Images or drag and drop images directly to the canvas.

Backgrounds are automatically removed after upload.

Important Note: Credits are deducted for each image processed with Batch Background Remover.

Replace or Edit Backgrounds

After removing the background, you can:

  • Use Change Background to replace the background with a solid color or image
  • Refine the background selection to remove unwanted areas or restore missing parts
  • Use Drop Shadow to add depth and help your subject stand out

Customize Individual Images

To customize an image:

Step 1: Hover over the image you want to customize

Step 2: Click Customize

Step 3: Customize the image as needed. You can:

  • Refine the selection to remove unwanted areas or restore missing parts
  • Replace the background with a color or image
  • Add and adjust a drop shadow

Step 4: Click Apply

Important Note: Customized images will not automatically receive future edits applied to the overall batch.

Clearing Customizations

If an image has custom settings or selection changes applied, a blue customization icon will appear in the lower-right corner of the thumbnail.

Click the icon and select:

  • Clear Custom Selection to remove selection adjustments
  • Clear Custom Settings to restore the image to the same settings as the rest of the batch

Save Your Images

Step 1: Click Save All to download the entire batch.

Step 2: Choose your file format and update your filenames.

Step 3: Click Save Images to download your images as a ZIP file.
