With the HDR DLX feature, bringing out those details to enhance your image has never been easier. The HDR (High Dynamic Range) DLX effect uses adaptive technology to bring out those realistic details that may have been missed. The HDR DLX tool can be located in the Detail Enhancements section of the Photo Editor.
This tool is only available for BeFunky Plus subscribers. Upgrade your subscription here!
Step 1: Open your photo in BeFunky’s Photo Editor.
Step 2: Click HDR DLX. This is located in the Edit tab under the Detail Enhancements section.
Step 3: Edit the settings for Amount, Strength, and Regions by moving the sliders or directly inputting an amount:
- Amount: How much of the effect to apply to the image.
- Strength: The power of the effect being applied to each region.
- Regions: Indicates the number of regions your photo is being virtually split into. When the amount of regions is increased, the area of each region gets smaller, allowing the HDR DLX effect to add even more attention to detail within each region.
Pro Tip: Depending on the photo you start with, an increased number of regions isn’t always the best choice. The more regions you use, the less strength you might need. It's always best to test out different regions and find what works best for your photo.
Step 4: Adjust your settings to find just the right balance you are looking for. Click Apply to save your changes.
Step 5: If you're done, be sure to save your project!
