How to Align Groups

Group Alignment provides the ability to snap Layers to specific areas of your workspace. Layer's are additional Images, Shapes, or Text blocks you add to your BeFunky workspace. Learn more about layers here.

There are two different ways you can use Group Alignment to snap your layers to either the Left, Right, Top, Bottom, or Middle of your project workspace. You can also Center these layers to any area you align the layers too.

Layer 'Options' Menu

Step 1: Select all the layers you would like to align as a group.

  • Open your Layers menu located at the bottom left corner of your lower taskbar. The icon looks similar to a stack of papers.
  • Hold "Command" (Apple) or "Cntrl" (Microsft) to select multiple layers.

Step 2: Select 'Options' located within the 'Shape Properties' menu to choose your alignment location. You can also double-click on your alignment to push all selected layers evenly to the selected location.

Tip: When you are editing your BeFunky project and decide you don't like the changes that you made, you can also undo your edits from your project 'History' menu. This is located at the bottom right corner of your lower taskbar. The icon looks similar to a clock.
