Clipping Masks with Cutouts

Using new masking tools, you can overlay images of your choosing onto any image. Read along to see how.

Step 1: Open a new project in your Graphic Designer, or add a graphic onto an image in your Photo Editor.

Step 2: Select an image in your Image Manager, and drag-and-drop it over the cutout. You’ll see an option come up to either 'Replace Image' or 'Use as Mask', click the latter to mask your image on the cutout.

Add Image Mask to CutoutStep 3: Once it’s been added you can adjust the placement of the image by double-clicking on it. The full image will show up over the mask and allow you to drag it over the masking area or resize the image to get the best results.

Adjust Image Mask on CutoutStep 4: You can also move the cutout around the place it in a different part of the image mask. Experiment with using on-canvas cropping to get the best results.

Step 5: Once you're done with your creation, save and share it or save with layers in-tact to work on later.
