Adding Blush to Portraits

BeFunky's Blush tool in our Touch Up tools highlights your natural features, and adds a brush of color to your photos.

Step 1: Open an image in your Photo Editor.

Step 2: Under the Touch Up menu, find the Blush option.

Step 3: Choose your preferred shade of blush from the Color Palette.

Step 4: Adjust the Strength, Brush Size, and Brush Hardness by dragging the sliders or inputting the percentage you'd like. Brush Size determines the surface area of the tool, while Brush Hardness determines how soft the outlines of your edits will be. A lower hardness level will provide a more feathered appearance. Strength changes the intensity of the tool, and can be changed after you apply the edit.

Step 5: Click and drag on the desired area to apply blush.

Pro Tip: If you go overboard or want to remove some of the effect, use the Erase tool to do so.

Step 6: Select Apply to save your changes.

Step 7: Continue adding to and editing your creation. If you're done, be sure to save your project!
