Adding Vibrance to Images

When enhancing colors in a photo, the Vibrance tool helps the colors in your image look more realistic. It differs from the Saturation tool by pinpointing the areas of your image that actually need color correction and leaving well-saturated areas alone. Upload your image into BeFunky’s Photo Editor to help give the color a boost!

This tool is only available for BeFunky Plus subscribers. Upgrade your subscription here!

Step 1: Open an image in your Photo Editor then go to the Edit menu and choose Vibrance.

Step 2: You'll just see one setting adjustment here for Amount.  Use the slider or type in your amount to increase or decrease the amount of effect to apply.

Pro Tip: If you want to get a bit more precise and only apply Vibrance to certain areas of your image, click on the Erase tab to place the tool in Erase mode. Click the Invert Selection icon. Select the Keep button to paint the effect onto the portions of your photo.

Step 3:  Click Apply to save your changes.

Step 4: Continue adding to and editing your creation. If you're done, be sure to save your project!
