Use the Perspective tool to add depth, correct lens distortion, and transform the angle perspective of your images. The Perspective Tool can be located in the Essentials section of the Photo Editor.

The Perspective tool has an Inward and an Outward tab with similar controls.
- Inward: Uses the ability to move the edge of the image inwards (away from you).
- Outward: Uses the ability to bring the edge of the image outward (or towards you).
- Horizontal: Drag the slider to the left to anchor the left side of the image and move the right side outwards. Drag the slider to the right to anchor the right side of the image and bring the left side outwards.
- Vertical: Drag the slider to the left to anchor the top of the image and bring the bottom edge outwards. Drag the slider to the right to anchor the bottom of the image and bring the top edge outwards.
- Focal Length: This setting will adjust the overall viewing angle of the image. The lower the focal length, the longer and narrower the image will appear or zoomed-out. The higher the focal length, the wider the image will appear, or a zoomed-in effect.
- Reset: This button will remove all changes and revert your image back to the same state as when you entered the tool.
Adding Depth to an Image Using Inward
The Inward option can help provide additional depth to an image by changing the viewing angle of the image in a 3-dimensional space.
Step 1: Select Inward from the Perspective tab.
Step 2: Drag the Horizontal slider in the desired direction, or type in the numerical amount.
Step 3: Drag the Vertical slider in the desired direction, or type in the numerical amount.
Step 4: Adjust the Focal length as needed by dragging the slider in the corresponding directions or inputting the numerical amount.
Step 5: Continue making adjustments as needed until you have the correct angle and depth needed.
Step 6: Click Apply to save your changes.
Step 7: Continue adding to and editing your creation. If you're done, be sure to save your project!
Correcting Lens Distortion Using Outward
The Outward option has a grid with on-canvas controls that allow you to easily correct crooked objects, horizons, and verticals that are caused by lens warp and distortion.
Step 1: Select Outward from the Perspective tab.
Step 2: Hover over the canvas and a grid will appear. The grid has on-canvas controls.
Step 3: Select and drag one corner at a time to align the vertical and/or horizontal aspects of the image with the grid as desired.
Step 4: Drag the Horizontal, Vertical, and Focal Length sliders as needed to make any additional adjustments to the image.
Step 5: Click Apply to save your changes.
Step 6: Continue adding to and editing your creation. If you're done, be sure to save your project!
