How To Apply Partial Effects Using Paint Mode

Using the Paint Mode, you are able to apply a specific filter/effect on a particular area of an image. There are two different ways you can apply a partial effect using Paint Mode.

The first way deals with applying the effect, and using Paint Mode to erase unwanted areas:

1.) Click the effect to apply it to the entire image (do not click the blue check mark yet)

2.) To access Paint Mode, click into the effect settings, and select 'Paint'

3.) Adjust your brush size, brush hardness, and brush strength

4.) Begin painting the areas you wish to not have the effect applied

5.) Click the blue check mark to apply your effect

The other way deals with manually painting on the effect to the wanted area:

1.) Click the effect to apply it to the entire image (do not click the blue check mark yet)

2.) To access Paint Mode, click into the effect settings, and select 'Paint'

3.) Select the Reverse button to reverse the applied effect

4.) Adjust your brush size, brush hardness, and brush strength

5.) Begin painting on the effect in the areas you wish to apply the effect

6.) When you've painted your desired area, select the blue check mark to apply the effect
