I added this in the feedback area but just spotted this specific are for educators, so i have pasted it in here as well.

Hello Befunky,

Thank you so much! We ran a photograph project with a year 3/4 class aged 7-9 years old and we editted our final choice of photographs through befunky. Each child was responsible for their own final selection and their own editing styles- no teacher input needed. The results were not only amazing, but surprising, one child with poor literacy levels and a developmental delay was able to produce impressive images. I was even asking this particular child to teach others... But this was not the only surprise, as the children began to process and develop their photographs, their own styles started to emerge. With a class of 18 chidlren we ended up with a huge range of fantastic images and the photograher who worked with us was really impressed (kidswithcameras.co.uk). In fact she worried that we may put her out of a job !:-) The big surprise was the exhibition at the end as we struggled to select images for framing...there were just so many amazing images.

We finished with an exhibition of the best images, with each child having their own photographs together in a collection. The images astounded everyone..ranging from nature, shopping scenes, children at play and portrait shots. We invited a lot of people and the feedback in our visitors book is overwhelming. Each child stood by their collection and talked to the visitors about theri images and their processing decisions.SOme chidlren cold be seen holding an audience of 5 or more people as they explained their photographs and answered questions from strangers- not bad for a 7-9 year old budding photographer! Unfortunately as a lot of  the images have children in them I cannot share them on the gallery...

Once again, thankyou for allowing the children to explore their creativity and find their hidden talents. The beauty of befunky was that even illiterate chidlren were able to access the site and process their work in the style that suited them. This project raised self esteem and gave the chidlren all a chance to feel special- without befunky, the exhibition wouldn't have had the WOW factor. And believe me it did WOW a lot of people! So from Eagles class at Hallwood Park Primary School and myself we send a BIG THNAKYOU.

Keep up the good work- i am now an avid fan, as are all my class and their families.

eaglesclass, thank you very much for your feedback! It's priceless to see that our efforts are actually helping people to reveal their creativity.

Your feedback encouraged us to open a dedicated forum for educators, instead of this single topic. So anyone can reply to eaglesclass' post, ask questions or share their own experience here: http://support.befunky.com/forums/20129992-befunky-for-educators

Thanks!
