If possible can you add an effect to add clouds and with different types of clouds and shapes.  Scattered clouds with various different colors.  Maybe a feature for random cloud formations. 

Also an effect that can add rain drops, from light rain to heavy rain with different patterns and raining different directions.

Let the user be able to have  a "define area tool" for applying these effects.
