Hi,

You'll still get it at 72 PPI. What's important here is BeFunky Professional will give outputs at 4000x4000 pixels maximum. Before printing, you can change the PPI value of the image, telling your printer how many pixels of the image it will print in a one inch square. According to this setting, the same 4000x4000 image can be printed larger or smaller. The bigger the PPI value is, the smaller and sharper the print will be.

BeFunky currently doesn't let  you change the PPI value. However you can find several free software to do it on your computer. Just remember that you need to disable "Resampling" option when changing the PPI value. Resampling will also change the dimensions of your original photo, causing possible distortions.

No clearer.... what free programs do I need to get the picture larger.  And why can't you do this with Be Funky? I thought that if you got a membership you would get options,  What do I need to dov?  Yes I am little upset by this whole thing as I thought I could use it for some scrapbooks that need to get down asap.  can you please help me so that all this can happen?

Coral,

You should have no problems printing a 4000 pixels wide image for scrapbooking. Please let me know if you tried and not satisfied with the result.

We're trying to keep BeFunky as simple as possible in the front end, so there are not options for specific printing needs.

If you want to change the default setting anyway you can use Irfan View for example, a simple image viewer which will let you change the PPI value. Just open your image with Irfan View, select Image->Resize/Resample from the menu, enter the desired value to the DPI field below, click OK and Save the image.

Hello, I want to export an artwork into a size of foam board 138 x 83 cm. Usually, the dpi i need is 300dpi /inch . So, can your 4000 x 4000 satisfied my need? Thank you!

Hi,

Printing at the size and DPI you want requires an image like 16000 px X 10000 px. That is more than a web application can handle, currently.

Our 4000 x 4000 would satisfy your need at 72 DPI only. Let me know if I can help you further.

You mentioned that I can sign up on a monthly basis.  How do I do this - I only see the regular and premium yearly membership options.

And, when I resize an image before uploading to my shopping cart site, I change from default 72ppi to 100 so I achieve document size around 70" to allow maximum print sizes through fulfillment service.  It sounds like if you offer no larger than 72dpi, I'll be unable to do this - correct?
