A plea to increase resolution on the Android Befunky photos.

Hello, 

 

First of all i have to say congratulations on making a great easy to use application with very nice results ! They look nice and sleek on the phone, but when i export them to my computer, i'm always sad to see that the resolution doesn't exceed 1000x1000 pixels. This may have been sufficient a few years ago, but as of today, your application is seriously downgrading the camera possibilities on our phones. 

So, i hope you will listen to this plea, as i'm sure i'm not the only one with this wish in mind, to increase this lousy resolution. I'm sure this isn't even such a big challenge for you, and even if it is, your popularity on the android market should give you more than sufficient funds to hire new programmers.

There are so many different Android devices in the market and they are not created equal with their capabilities. Our goal is to make BeFunky apps reachable to anyone and make them work on any device properly. With a higher resolution update, many Android device owners could face performance problems so we were limiting the max resolution for now. We are also working constantly on performance issues and hopefully we will provide a higher resolution option on many phones soon.

Bmert, Thank you for the response, 

I agree with what you say, you have compatibility issues with the numerous android devices on the market, and i'm not asking for an upgrade that would render older / lower spec phones obsolete, but you should give the option to consumers. Add a higher resolution output option in your program, it's as simple as that. 

Thing is, this a very neat application you guys have got here, and i can see alot of potential in it. But it kills me to see that you guys are already satisfied with it, refusing to push it from good to better ! 

I'm still using it because all of the other apps are flawed as well. But if i cross something with higher standards, i'll switch, i think other will do the same. 

So keep at it !

Believe us, we are not refusing and we are never satisfied:) We really understand you and we really want to make the high resolution option to everyone who has BeFunky on their Android device. Hopefully we gonna make it soon and we gonna make it work fast and neat as it should be.
